While there is considerable overlap between Trauma-Informed, Life-Transition, and Transformational Coaching, the emphasis is slightly different for each. As an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach, I bring the full range of my expertise in memory and trauma studies and experience as a leader in the nonprofit sector to my work with clients.
Trauma-Informed Coaching
Trauma-Informed Coaching helps you to transform the wound into wisdom. At the practical level, we work with the physical, emotional, and psychological effects of trauma in your life. But in a deeper and more transformative way, we learn from trauma: learn about the resilience and intelligence that allowed you to survive, learn how to honor and love yourself, not in spite of, but because of what you have come through.
Life Transitions Coaching
Life Transitions Coaching works with you to embrace tumultuous upheavals in personal and professional identities as openings, opportunities, and teachers, and to discover the deeper essence that is asking to emerge through what often feels like crisis, endings, and loss.
Transformational Coaching
Transformational Coaching attunes to our yearning and our longing. We seek transformational coaching when something is calling us away from older, outdated ways of living and into a future that, while not yet clear, beckons to us. When we feel that there is more to life - that we have more to offer the world than what we are currently giving - we are ripe for transformation. When we feel that we have not yet reached our highest potential, and we are ready to let go of our old limits and step into the future waiting to emerge, then we are ripe for transformation. When we are ready to turn into the fears that limit us and find the power of transcending those limits, then we are ripe for transformation.
